Responsibilities:

  • Developing an organization's overall property strategy.

  • Developing a strategy for a single building.

  • Managing the maintenance of buildings. Managing services, such as cleaning, catering, and car parking.

  • Advising on the health and safety of a building's environment for the occupants and users.

  • Advising on property relocation.

  • Advising on energy efficiency. Advising on effective use of space.

Qualifications:

  • Associate'sDegreeor equivalent job-related experience required

  • 5+ years of experience in administration encompassing a variety of functions

  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to visualize and plan objectives and goals strategically

Essential Job Duties

  • Developing an organization's overall property strategy

  • Developing a strategy for a single building

  • Managing the maintenance of buildings

  • Advising on health and safety of a building's environment for the occupants and users

  • Maintaining communications networks

  • Managing budgets

  • Advising on energy efficiency

  • Advising on effective use of space

  • Managing services, such as cleaning, catering, and car parking

Minimum Qualifications

The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job

Education Level: (Required) Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Field of Study/Area of Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in administration encompassing a variety of functions

  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills

  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment

  • Ability to visualize and plan objectives and goals strategically

  • Decision making skills

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision, in order to meet deadlines

  • Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines

  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
