Senior Specialist Employment Marketing

The Senior Specialist Employment Marketing is responsible for leading a team that drives the attraction of candidates to meet the staffing demands of the Company as it continues to grow. The focus will be on implementing creative sourcing strategies and promoting employment marketing campaigns to aggressively develop a pipeline of pre-qualified active and passive candidates for all levels of positions in the organization

Position Summary

The Senior Specialist Employment Marketing is responsible for leading a team that drives the attraction of candidates to meet the staffing demands of the Company as it continues to grow. The focus will be on implementing creative sourcing strategies and promoting employment marketing campaigns to aggressively develop a pipeline of pre-qualified active and passive candidates for all levels of positions in the organization

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Marketing/Sourcing

  • Assist in strategic marketing efforts to attract a high volume of diverse candidates to meet the needs of the business

  • Source candidates and post job openings on various job boards and other online resources, as assigned

  • Management, analysis and growth of all the Company’s’ social media efforts on the leading social media channels, via the top scheduling tools

  • Digital tracking of website data analytics and social media analytics platforms to determine the success of marketing efforts

  • Create and manage email campaigns, including creation of HTML/CSS email templates and graphics

  • Focus on innovative employment marketing tools and keeping up to date on sourcing channels

Brand Awareness

  • Execute and promote all online employment marketing campaigns using social media avenues

  • Work with manager and employment marketing in the development and execution of employment branding and related collateral

  • Write marketing job descriptions utilizing SEO strategies

  • Assist with preparing and executing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations

Administration

  • Work with multiple departments to ensure a timely and smooth transition for the execution of all projects

  • Manage and report on candidate communication such as; voicemail, email, voice shots, and other communication platforms

  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of training materials to include but not limited to systems training, process and procedures, and cross-functional training

  • Coordinate the distribution of materials between talent acquisition, employment marketing, and business partners

  • Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Direct Reports

  • Hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resources

Indirect Reports

  • May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports

Minimum Qualifications The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job

Education Level: (Required): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Field of Study/Area of Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in the top social media channels / recruitment or job related; retail experience preferred

  • 1+ year of experience in SEO/SEM/Search Engine Analytics preferred

  • Software Proficiencies: Microsoft Office, Excel, Search Engine Analytics, Keyword Planner, and WordPress

  • Preferred Software Proficiencies: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier, Mac iWork (Pages, Keynote, Numbers), basic understanding of HTML/CSS for email marketing

  • Experience with social media marketing or social recruiting

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Experience with the major social media channels and tools, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Buffer, Hootsuite, etc

  • Experience with Search Engine Analytics, Keyword Planner and other reporting tools

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Adobe Photoshop

  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for email marketing template creation and maintenance

  • Exceptional writing skills and attention to detail

  • Must be flexible and able to multi-task, prioritize and meet assigned deadlines, while accommodating different personalities, professional work styles and changing work environments/priorities

  • Experience in a high volume, non-exempt recruiting preferred

  • Experience with recruiting information/applicant tracking systems a plus

  • Copy writing skills utilizing SEO strategies and current search engine schema a plus

  • Knowledge of the sourcing, selection, and talent acquisition field including strategies, programs, and tools are required

  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

  • Demonstrates cross-cultural sensitivity with demonstrated experience and ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds

  • Problem-solving and results-focused professional

  • Well-organized, attentive to details

  • Must be flexible and able to multi-task and handle multiple candidates at one time

  • Capability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and research skills

Environmental & Physical Requirements:

Office / Sedentary Requirements: Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
